Marjorie Pitz, FASLA

 

Marjorie Pitz created the landscape architecture firm Martin & Pitz Associates, Inc. in 1983 with Roger Martin, FASLA. After Roger retired, Marjorie practiced solo, and enlarged her scope to include public art. By 2010 her work was primarily public art.  In 2012, she began working with clay.


Public Art

Marjorie Pitz has created public art for ten years, focusing upon environmental sculpture.  Her media include woven willow, concrete, wood, stone, metal, earth, and glass.


Landscape Architecture

Marjorie Pitz is a Fellow in the American Society of Landscape Architects, and her landscapes have been recognized for their exceptional design quality and skillful detailing.


Ceramics

Clay has recently become a major passion.  Shaping earth with your hands, and adding water, fire and air creates magic.
